Reservation/Cancellation Policies

1) Much like securing lodging, a valid major credit card is required for reservations. We take your card information via voice. We do not complete the transaction in advance (no deposit is charged to the card); the card is only used to hold your reservation. When we return to the dock on the day of your charter, we can securely process payment for your charter on your card. Alternatively, we accept cash, check, or 1st-born child who has no possibility of student loans. ;-D … Your Mate’s gratuity needs to be in cash and given directly to them.

2) Should you need to cancel or reschedule your charter, 72 hours notice prior to scheduled departure time is required. This gives another guest the opportunity to reserve the trip you need to cancel. With less than 72 hours notice, we will process your card for the full amount of your charter, PLUS 20% for Mate’s tip.

3) Should the Captain feel it prudent to cancel or reschedule a trip due to inclement weather, and/or unsafe sea conditions, our guests bear no financial responsibility.

4) A CASH gratuity of 15 to 20 percent is customary for your hard-working Mate.
