Catchin' Up gives Captain Alan the ability to easily guide your party into a secluded creek or tranquil flat, as well as safely dash you out into the deeper waters of the Chesapeake Bay!
James River Saltwater Sport Fishing
Catchin' Up presents our guests the opportunity to have a truly personalized experience on the James River. For you, this may mean tailoring a fishing charter trip combining some bottom fishing for croaker, spot or flounder with an equal amount of time spent live baiting for mighty cobia and shark or trolling for striped bass (rockfish or stripers), bluefish or Spanish mackerel. Some folks enjoy fishing for speckled trout and red drum (redfish) on light tackle along the flats. For others it may mean an intimate sunset cruise topped off by a river view dining experience.

You may want to learn a little of the rich history of the James River and James River, Virginia area and get an introduction to some of it's aquatic inhabitants by chartering a sightseeing or pleasure excursion.
